SWACHH BHARAT SWACHH VIDYALAYA CAMPAIGN

As per the circular no.acad-34/2014,dated-22.09.2014 from CBSE, the school observed Swachh Bharat Abhiyan from 25 September 2014 to 31 October 2014. On 2 October 2014 the whole school along with students has been administered the Swachh Bharat Pledge by the Principal of the school Madam Sujata. A meeting was convened by the Principal on 9 October 2014 and the following resolutions were passed to make the Abhiyan successful in school.

Resolutions of the meeting on 9^th October 2014

1. Talk by a student everyday in the morning assembly- the language teachers will assign the students for the same.( record of students and teachers to be kept)
2. A teacher will sum up his/her observation of the cleanliness activities of the previous day in the school in the morning assembly every day.
3. In the meeting it was decided to set up the cleanliness club of the school for proper execution and monitoring of the cleanliness drive inside the school as well as its neighborhood.

1. Cleaning of class room and corridors - class teachers and students with the help of the concerned peons. Writing on a piece of paper or a smiley symbol may be pinned on the soft board of the class room as a mark of appreciation to the work of the students.
2. In each class the Swachh Bharat Pledge is to be affixed on the soft boards to remind the students of cleanliness and hygiene every time. Posters on cleanliness and hygiene will be fixed at different places of the school premises.
3. Every day the cleanest corridor will be judged by Ms. Swagatika Das & Ms. Rajalaxmi Tripathy .
4. Water cooler spots on the corridors will be taken care for avoiding spilling water. One mug and a broom will be kept there to clean the spot from time to time.
5. Inside the toilets/bath rooms instructions will be pasted specially for lower classes to use the flush button after use.
6. Laboratories- concerned science teachers with the lab assistant.
7. Library-the  librarian and the library peon
8. Toilets – Mr. B M Patnaik and the peons concerned
9. School Canteen- teachers in charge of canteen ( Ms. G Hota , Ms. Sasmita Rout, Mr.Srikant Behera )
10. School Stores- Mr. Narayan Muduli
11. Play ground- all HPER teachers, Mr.Deepak Ranjan Behera-A1
12. Maintaining School garden & lawn - all Biology teachers with the gardeners.
13. White washing and painting of school building- Mr. Narayan Muduli with discussion with our esteemed Principal Madam.
14. Along with the above specified locations –

1. On every alternate HPER period a section of students group wise will go for cleanliness drive for a particular region of the school area.
2. One day in a month a group of students and teachers under the supervision of Mr. Santosh Kumar Kar will go for cleaning work to the nearest colony, slums or a village nearby.

1. Organizing Competitions/activities for children- the Competition in charge Ms. Manisha Mishra   and Mr. D.M. Behera in assistance with other teachers of competition department.
2. The students, teachers and other staff members will be encouraged to keep polythene free environment in the school. The school canteen will use bio-degradable polythene and paper bags for package purpose.
3. Monitoring cleanliness drive- the school cabinet with the assistance of cleanliness club & the supervisors.
4. Preparing report for CBSE-Mr. S.K. Mohanty, Mr. S.S. Chinara & Mr. A.R. Dash
